Something I've not seen anyone mention is I believe a copper has to be 3" diameter to sound the best.  I used to love the 3.5 until I started using the 3" ones.  Now 3.5 sound really bad to me :(

I have several from Daryl and Ed and believe me, I never go out in the woods without a copper pot and it's generally in Osage :)

Our birds around here are very responsive to them and I just love that copper sound.

Of course, some of that has to deal with knowing Daryl.  I cannot get half out of those copper calls like Daryl can.  Of course, half of Nashville can tell you that still  *lol*

I really like the copper.   It has become my favorite pot to make.   I had some good help in the beginning (thanks Daryl).  I won't go in the woods without one.
