Hi Guys,

I can't tell you how nice it was meeting a bunch of you, and getting some time to hang out.  My wife and I had the best time.  You guys truly are a bunch of class acts!
After 15 hours of trying to figure out how to post a picture on my new computer, I think I figured it out
The whisky bottle was my owl hooter entry. It was all carved out of local bass woods. The label was wood burnt and then I hand painted it. Wooden cap pulled out exposing the hooter, the bottle was the actual sound chamber


Pileated woodpecker call was carved to look like a birch tree, reed was placed within broken branch, bottom of call was carved to look like basket weave .


Timberdoodle friction was my favorite project. Stump with peep pulled out to expose striker,slate was under the belly of mother woodcockCarved Brown trout

Gregg , you made another great showing this year . You always come up with the coolest ideas . That's what sets you apart from other greats . Did the Brinks truck show up on time to carry all your medals home ? LOL !!  I keep telling you how incredibly talented you are . I am proud to be able to call you my good friend !! Great group of calls Gregg, the wild turkey owl hooter was my favorite call in the comp.
I liked the woodcock too, but hated that I was a competitor in the same class. There couldn't have been more than a point between 1st and 2nd. I really admire your work and you deserve a big congratulations!!!!
