Can't really add much to whats been said already. It just looks better when matched. Balance, symetry. But don't that ole "wild hair" just get to ya sometimes and ya just have to do it different. Or is that just me? ???

 I would say you do!  *lol* *lol*  In the beginning I built them out of whatever I could get or afford. LOL.. Heck my first calls were made from wood I got from farmers around here laying in their barns.  ROTFLMBO

You started out on MILLED limber!?!? *wha* I had to cut my own trees! Then mill 'em myself with a chainsaw!...Then haul the planks on my back.... 5 miles to the shop... uphill... both ways... barefoot... in the snow. *cry*
