Black - whitetail deer

A friend sent these pictures to me. This fawn and it's mother have too much melanin in their skin which causes the dark coats. This fawn will most likely grow up and shed , ending up looking like it's mother. The doe exhibits the trait in her face mostly. I thought I would share . Photographer credits are on the pic. Enjoy !

That's a beautiful fawn! Looks like the doe has a large knot on her knee.
