Getting wiper blades changed...

I bought a new truck this fall, which came with the traditional-style, typical metal framed wiper blades.  I used the Bosch Icon blades on my other truck for the past few winters, which has an internal metal frame so ice doesn't build up; a winter blade for those of you who live down south.

So, yesterday, tired of breaking ice off the blades and skipping blades when I run them, I bought a set of Bosch winter blades, which were $10 off for the pair at Auto Zone -- Nice, and they will step outside to change them for you.

I figured this guy can change them, he's probably done dozens on this style truck, and it will take him 30 seconds, versus me taking 10 minutes in the cold trying to figure out the clip mechanism with cold fingers.

So to my question -- the guy at the auto parts store who changes your blades for you -- do you tip him a couple bucks for braving the cold, snow and ice, or is this service simply part of his job?

I think it is totally up to you if you want to tip or not but a couple of bucks beats standing out in the cold doing it yourself that is for sure!!

At Advance Auto Parts I offered a tip and was told they couldn't accept it.

I'd probably tip, but I think most stores are told they are not supposed to accept...
