For some reason I think this is a trick question. I have a call that has some mud cured Osage in it that looks a little like that wood.

Morgan,

From my understanding John is limiting the number of calls that he makes to just a handful that will stay in the state of Mississippi. There seems to be some worry about the rapid decline of you guys turkey population if too many of John's calls stay down there.

Our population in Tunica is about as low as it can go, but that old Stribling style put three stompers with 1 1/2 in. spurs in the freezer last year.  I was just fortunate to get one with Sweetness and Mr. Wineman got one with Sweetness 2 that I made for him.  Young Eustice Winn got the third with an original 55 year old Stribling.

Rickey,  I watched Dick Reed turn that call 35 years ago.  It was not mud cured but as bright yellow as all the calls that Our Chief has been receiving.  I'm sure Mike has enough now to float a small battleship.  The thing is in 35 years it will have aged and be the same color as that aged call.  It is Walnut and Osage.  For your persistance and good observation, you do receive a Gator Gobbling Stribling as my Christmas Present for a fun year on this site.  The one condition is that you give it to your son and tell him as Albert Paul did to keep up those grades.  This is one great bunch of guys.  "Merry Christmas to ALL".   I will get with you about Turkey Season *up*

John,

I am speechless. I know my son will be also. He just finished his first semester in a doctorate program in Physical Therapy school in college and had a 4.0. He has never made a B his entire life from kindergarten through high school, 4 years of college, and now one semester of PT school. I am very proud of him for numerous reasons.

Merry Christmas to you and yours and again thanks. You make an absolute killer sounding call that I may bring down to Bienville WMA and entice some of Morgan's pet birds.
