tool question

i want to make some pot calls, but i have no lathe, im interested in buyin a mini lathe, but what all else do i need to get at the same time just to be able to turn some pots and not break the bank at the same time, also what other ways can pots be made without a lathe, any information from you guys will be greatly appreciated

You can make pots with a series of hole saws. It's not much fun and the hole saws can get pricey.

It didn't break the bank and gets the job done. Check Craigslist you might find one cheap. Right after I bought mine I saw a Jet lathe on there for the same price.  *cry*
My turning tools are a 5 piece pen turners set off Ebay. Make sure to get HSS tools. I think I paid 30.00 for the set.
