I own both Jet tools and Grizzly tools.  The Jet is better quality, but the price is definately alot higher.  I have a 14" grizzly band saw that has served me well.  It is probably not the quality of some of the higher level tools, but hey we aren't building rocket ships here!!  I would buy it again....If money is not an object, go for the Jet, but I think that most grizzly tools would serve you just fine....

Jet but Grizzly is excellent for the money!

jason,...i have several grizzly sanders and saws and lots of other small pieces,...i've never had any major trouble with them,..and they are used HARD..  i did see quite an increase in quality at grizzly over the past years,....their newer units are much better than the older ones.  what's even nicer is that we have a grizzly store just right up the road,....i had motor trouble with one of the sanders a few years back,...i took the motor up there and their tech's cleaned and fixed it while i waited.

I have the Grizzly Ultimate 14" bandsaw, not the first problem out of it. So, I went and got the Hybrid table saw from them and absolutely love that thing!!!!!
