Thanks to all of you friends. It has been a source of strength for myself, and our whole family to come here and see the kind words that all of you have written. Mom was a small woman who stood only 4 foot 11" tall, but she was as strong as anyone I ever knew. She loved to work and worked in a supermarket bakery right up till a few years ago. She was never one to complain about hardship or pain, and up till last week said she felt fine. We knew that that wasn't so, but we let her believe that she had fooled us. Our lives will be diminished without her, but we take comfort in knowing that she is with God, and my sister.
