I met Craig this morning to pic up the trumpet that he had posted over in the callmakers section. I spent a few minutes running the one he had built for me. Man, she is a beaut and has some sweet sounds that escape her. He then pulls out the antler one for me to run. After a few minutes of whistling, yelping, and clucking on these two calls, I look past the fence into a grass field. There stands three longbeards looking at us. I'm not talking gobblers with little wispy beards, I'm talking 3 good sized ropes hanging from them. I paid the man, and quickly, before he wanted his call back.
Bought, paid for and field tested all in the same day.
