It's a sad time, but FYI OSAGE ROOST will be pulling the plug at the end of the month. It's been a great 15 years since the start, but it's hardly ever used now and time to move on!
It was so nice to get out in the woods this morning. I took it pretty easy and only went in about a 1/4 mile and set down. When I got sat down I looked around and laying by a log about 30 yards away was this fawn a snoozing. Once he notice me he didn't stick around long! After a bit I heard some turkeys a making a racket down the hill and I made a few yelps at them just to see if they would respong. They paid no attention to me but another fawn (or possibly the same one came back) that was cruising through with it's mammy got curious and had to come check out that lump making turkey noises.I just sat there for another couple of hours listening to the sweet music of the outdoors and the smell of fresh air.
