I got home from work this morning and.......

could not sleep. So I went for a walk down to the river. I live only like 500 yards from a pretty big river but never seem to take advantage of it. I scouted for bow season and trapping season. I saw tons of sign and can not wait!! Lots of pics bare with me friends.  :grouphug:

Been talking about hanging a stand in this hedgerow  for a couple years now. well this week I am going to!! Corn to the south soybeans to the north and a wood line that meets the river to the west!!! food,water,security and a pinch point:) :)






these root wads had a lot of sign of Mink,Muskrat and the Raccoon







Maybe I should stop complaining that there is nothing to do in the summer and buy a fishing license!!




Lots of good hunts up in these hills  :)  ;D (Let's hope many more!)




Now I am going to sleep.

Nice country there Dylan you should be able to kill a turkey a day there. No gators or cottonmouths and no steep mountains looks like a hunters paradise. I hope you have a good fall season there is no lack of food in that area.

Awesome pics there!!!!  I just cannot wait till you trap your first skunk and it's alive :)

Looks like a wonderful place to set a stand and see some wild life!

I always enjoy seeing your trapping photos and hearing about your adventures!

Dylan you are a lucky man living in a place that beautiful! Great place for a stand. Yep swimming and fishing, wouldn't be worth killin in the summer!

I would be on that river fly fishing every day...beautiful place...fishin, trapping, deer huntin, turkey huntin, and just being in the outdoors...you've got it made, my friend!!...You got a place for me to park my 5th wheel? *cheers*
