I've seen flocks everyday this week on my way home from work . It's been between 2:30 and 3 o'clock everyday . They were either along the woods edge or out in the picked cornfields . One flock had attacked a small finger of weedy brush at the base of a power pole which is out in a picked bean field . They had the snow so scratched up around that pole and brush it looked more like a feed lot where cattle are confined . The road is much higher than the creek bottom field and that big dark spot really stood out in contrast with the snow. Must have been at least 25 turkeys in that flock . Another flock is at 40 or better . Today the big flock was scattered over about 5 acres .
Have a good hunt Shad.
