Huntin' With The Wife

Here are just a few things I've learned from hunting with my wife.

1. That game bag on the back of your vest is not accually a game bag, It is a food and drink storage compartment. ::)

2. They never ask questions like kids do, they make statements. Ex: Kids ask, "when are we going to eat?". She says, "I'm hungry" and then proceeds to pull something from that food and drink storage compartment on her vest. Kids ask, "why do we have to get here so early?" She say, "I don't know why we have to get up so early, we very seldom kill one before 8:00 any way." Kids ask, "why isn't he coming?" She says, "sounds like he's not coming". ::) I mean why state the obvious.

3. Here is the only question she ask: "WHAAAAAAAAAAT'S OOOOON MEEEEEEEEE ?"  It would not matter if there were four longbeards standing 20 steps from your gun barrel.  *aah* They're not about to step foot into those woods until they can see. Then make statements like the one above.

4. You get to the woods and once it gets light, you look down at their feet. Does she have on her snakeboots? Noooo, she's got these little slides on. "Why don't you have your boots on?" "They make my feet sweat."
One of the things I find amusing is, once it gets light, you look over at them and they already have their face mask pulled up. ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO

These are just "some" of the things I've learned; but, I would not trade it for a million bucks.

My wife loves to hunt...hates snakes..Poison Ivy....and anything that may crawl up on her! And patients...we sat in the Texas sun for 4 hours while this huge long beard SLOWLY worked his way to the call. The last minute of the hunt he was on a string and.......she didn't allow him to get any closer! At 60 yards, she had had enough...dropped him like a rock! I asked her why not let him get closer! Her reply...there was a Horny Toad crawling on her leg and she had come to her limits on Texas turkeys! LMBO!
