Here's a shortbox caller I built this spring . The sides, top, and bottom are all made from the same piece of antique black walnut. This is another call made from the old stock of wood that was intended to be sold to Remington Arms co. for gunstocks. The end blocks are redheart and I inlayed purpleheart into the lid.
