I want to say thanks to everybody for the comments and compliments on the trumpet. I started out with the intent of making a trumpet that I could kill turkeys with(and I have), just for the satisfaction of doing it with something I made. I found out that I really like making them. It's frustrating at times, but rewarding at the end. Most that I will make are made from Delrin, which makes them weatherproof. As of now, I'm not making any for sale, but I will sometime in the future. I've still got a good many promised that I have to finish first. And to those that I have promised a trumpet to, they're coming and they are far better now(in sound and finish) than they were. I've been constantly messing with the internals and have got it exactly where I want it now. They are very easy to draw and roll over easily. I struggled with volume at first, but now they will play very quietly and get good volume, when needed.
Sorry for the long-winded response.
Thanks, again!
Mike
