Pot makers....
« on: September 07, 2009, 09:12:03 PM »
1.) How long did it take you to settle on "your design"?

2.) How many designs did you accidentially "hack" before you realized someone else was doing it?

3.) Was "your" hole pattern something that took a while to settle on?

For me:

1.) I hacked Daryl Slaton's design and did'nt know it until my dad showed me. Then stumbled on the design I use now just messin around.

Every hole design I finally come up with someone else has got it. It's kinda hard to be original one that side of it.

Anyways, I was just curious, that was/has been the most frustrating thing to me.

1.) I have been making calls for 4 years. It took me 3 years to get to designs that I have repeated. I have a notebook of measurements and a few drawings. Sometimes it just comes to me as I go even now but I use most of the same numbers cause I like my sound.

2.) I have dozens that will never be used.

3.) I do mostly the standard but I make the holes different sizes. Most everything been thought of.

Adam.....Hacking Daryl is ok...(everyone knows that!)  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO Kidding Daryl!

You will ease into your style....I personally do each a little different. The inside is a different story I keep my measurements there the same.

Hole patterns.... Well generic holes in a circle shouldn't be a big deal with anyone.

Not so  sure about the HARD CEDAR joke but I know where a cedar tree is that is so hard it has a beaver's tooth broke off in it! How you like them apples?

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
