Hunt him! Turkeys have the ability to travel great distances both for food and for company. You probably have several gobblers but just don't hear them because of his dominance. I hunt a honey hole (35 acres) that is always good for a gobbler every year, and every year for the past 15 years, I take one there.

Well I see that this is another point that seems like I am at a Baptist meeting....A lot of views with a lot of variables, yet the one making the choice must decide.

I'd take him.  There is a reason that he was there.  Food, hens etc.  A new gobbler will take over the same spot next year.

One thing to remember about my comment is my reference was 45 years ago! There were no where as many birds. That would make a big difference even now. I have a few birds around here. But let um be a few years and there will be a lot more!
