PA youth season update ...1 1/2 inch spurs
« on: April 25, 2010, 08:57:52 AM »
 * hi *

We had a great youth season here in Pa.  Despite not connecting on a bird with my nephew, we managed to work several henned up Toms and had several hens come in to us.  He had a great time , and realizes its not always about the kill.

My good friend in town here had his Twin 15 year old daughter out and connected with this Huge Tom.  Stats were : 20 lbs---91/2 paint brush- and each spur was 1 1/2 inches...and sharp!  She couldn't wait to show me this Bruiser with my call she used.
Needless to say, Dad will be picking up that tab at our local Taxidermist !!!
