Zumer,
Yep, the boy and I doubled Saturday morning on a pair of 2 year olds. I called in the first bird out of a deep ravine that walked up to 20 yds of us. He actually came in after he heard me raking the leaves with my hand and stick. It was real thick where the bird was at. He gobbled at us at 20 yds. I told my son to shoot. He shot and the bird went to flopping. I stood up and anther bird we did not know was there ran in and jumped on the dying gobbler. I killed the second bird. That is the first time we have ever doubled and was a real rush. That was my son's 16th gobbler and he is 21 years old. He told me that turkey hunting was by far his favorite kind of hunting even over deer. It sure made me proud.
Sad part we did not take a camera out with us Saturday morning. We each thought the other had taken theirs. We are leaving Friday for MO/KS and I promise we will both have our cameras and I will have some pics when I get back.
Best of luck to everyone.
Rickey
