Wow what a day in the woods. I'd say it was a bad day, but to me any day in the woods is a good day. Not a peep around. I've talked to several friends in this area and same thing in the area. It was beautiful weather, so who knows. Kind of hard to come back from Kansas with the birds blasting their heads off and this happens.
Luckily I have 2 more weeks to go after them. May make a trip to the good honey hole sooner than I thought
But I will say this, I'm not making fun of anyone missing again. I did it to Daryl then I missed, my neighbor gave me crap last night and guess what... he missed this morning. I laughed so hard, but didn't say a bad thing. He went about 3 hours North of us and he was in birds that were sounding off. Should have went with him
Oh and I overslept and my hunting partner had to call the house to wake me up. Got out about 30 minutes later than I wanted and I grabbed my vest and forgot to pack any calls in it. I had two pots in my clothing, but that was it
