Best time of the year right around the corner...

1.) Turkey season
2.) Baseball/softball feilds fill up
3.) Barbeque ice cream and apple pie.
4.) Camping/fishing/swimming and trout fishing in the mountains.
5.) Grass cuttin


Most importantly, hanging out on the front porch in a rocking chair watching my little boy play as the sun goes down on another day in God's country.

Something about this time of year that brings a little bit of excitement. I think it's from all those years of knowing that baseball was about to crank up. Now that I'm married with kids it's all about hanging out with them and enjoying the outdoors. 13 more days and I'll be chasing Tom turkey down!! Can't wait.

Man you forgot one thing... March Madness :) 

I agree with you 100%.  My summers kind of stink because I work 2 pm to 2 am... but I do enjoy this time of year!

Turkey season cannot get here fast enough!

I can`t wait until springtime because we get rid of this white fluffy stuff and get to chase gobblers!

   I to long for spring minus the 4.5 acres of grass I cut.  I won't be long now, trees are starting to bud out, turkeys are gobbling.

 Youth hunt in Mississippi is less than a week away,  hope to get another one of these pics,



 I'll be in south Florida on the 20th, were I took this pic two years ago.



 Crawfish season is also just around the corner......




 Followed by four wheeler riding,swimming,camping,fishing.....and everything else these little knotheads, my wife and I can get into...

I hear ya on the crass cutting. I cut a total of about 8 to 9 acres. I enjoy it though. I don't have to answer the phone and I can't put my mind in neutral. Besides that, I have a man machine mower. Zero turn and 60 inches will get it done.
