 There's plenty more woods I'd rather checker Scott!!  :D  It's not too bad if your tools are sharp and you take your time. Worse thing with ebony is it wants to chip instead of cut. Lot's of clean up time after you're done checkering.

 That call may just get misplaced on the way to Nashville.  ::)  Thanks again for the nice comments guys! I really like the sound we're getting from the new Shortys. They are a pain in the rear to tune though..  ROTFLMBO
