CCAA Entry

Here is a call I made for the  Call makers and Collectors Association Fancy Call Contest..I turned this and checkered it a few months ago and just had to do a little more to the lip stop..finished the carving and checkering to get it ready for the engraver today. This is the first time I've made a call for this competition..after a conversation on the phone with another call maker I was inspired and this is what I came up with. This will be in the auction, and I'm planning to request a percentage of the proceeds go to St Jude's Children's Hospital.

Thank you Bill! I think the hardest part was deciding to carve and finish the small bottom panels on the lipstop..next hard part will be sending it off!
