Hey Dave....that Ebony lid on that longbox is flat out stunning. Is that Mollucan Ebony or Macassaar Ebony. I am still trying to get set up with some to try on some calls myself.

All I have to say is WOW...  I just heard all of these calls!  He's still tuning the short box and will it have GREAT potential when it's done!

I'm not sure which call I would pick if it was me.  That Butternut/Ebony is gorgeous and has an awesome sound.  Butternut/Walnut is a killer in a half and then the Poplar/Cherry has more of my sound to it! 

All three have a nice higher start that rolls over great!

Dave thanks for playing them for me.  I think I kept him on the phone too long, but those were some sweet sounding calls!  I know I'm going to have to have one of the Butternut/Ebony calls!

Thanks again guys! Mike, it is always a pleasure talking with you. I am always open to anyone wanting to talk calls and turkey hunting, and it is never to long of a conversation. I learn a lot from you guys as well and value the friendships forged through common interests. It is amazing how a bird can obsess us so, but it certainly leads to lasting friendships and camaraderie! I really enjoy this site also, great bunch of people here!
