Buckeye Challenge calls
« on: January 22, 2017, 07:34:08 AM »
Here are some calls I sent in to the Buckeye Challenge Competition where I was blessed to receive a 1st and 4th place award for my trumpets and a 2nd place award for my deer call. The calls are being listed on Ebay and proceeds will go to outreach programs such as Wheeling Sportsmen and Ability Hunts. Bob Fulcher and his committee worked very hard on this event and did a tremendous job!

I forgot to mention the woods used in the trumpets and crow call are Desert Ironwood, one trumpet has Bourbon Acrylic Mouthpiece. The Deer and crow call have phosphor bronze reeds and I think Walnut tone boards,(reclaimed antique stair tread) The Deer call is made from Walnut sent to me by Larry Gresser and came from an old Civil War era barn.
