Interest for a Mr. E DUCKCALL? I have thinking of doing a limited series of 20 duck calls. You may ask why is Mr. E doing making duck calls? Actually, I grew up duck hunting and was an apprentice to the late, great, duck call maker Mr. Jimmy Riddell of Jackson Ms. I hunted with him and he showed me everything to making and tuning his calls. When his eyes started failing, I would tune them up for him. Here is my go to call that will be duplicated in it's entirety. Burl Walnut with Osage bands. This was a call Mr. Jimmy used for 3 years and I was able to obtain from him in 1967. It still goes on every duck hunt that I make. Each Mr. E will have a presentation walnut, hand dovetail box similar to the attached picture. I will hand make each of these boxes. I have about 6 spots of the twenty still open. I want to catch up on my Turkey calls, so estimated finish date is about 2 years off. Just pm me if you are interested.
