Sweat Stains and Character

My friend and callmaker L.T. Pac just mentioned that sweat on a call gives character to it.  L.T. harrvests a lot of his wood from nature as I do.  The amount of sweat envoved is immense some times.  Add a lot of blood and tears for the work involved in the hard hunts and unsuccessful hunts and a callmaker will end up with a call like my old Stribling pictured that started it all for me.     Mr.E

That call has seen lots of miles and ground. I believe it maybe the one on your web page

Bob, you are correct.  That is the call on top of the Crossroads Gobbler.  The second box that I made in 1987.   The first call was so bad, you could not call a dog with it on a great day (Gave that one to my brother. This call, mahogany over walnut, has been on every hunt to the woods since. It is my pattern box for all of my Striblings!
