I live in the suburbs of Chicago. Naperville area to be exact. There is a decent flock of birds at a local forest preserve about a mile away. I think this ol tom got a little turned around. He had a bad limp so hopefully it was from another bird and not a car. This is my front lawn and I live on a street that has constant traffic. I got him to gobble at a call once, lol. he hung out for about an hour and then went inbetween my house and my neighbors and I stopped watching him as it got dark, he just stood there. Next morning he was gone, sure hope he made his way home. His spurs and beard looked pretty darn good, even had a mohawk going. Never the less, this is one thing i thought I would never see in suburbia.
