Something I had to try.

There's a new pot call in the Cabelas catalog that had a Micarta pot. I have a number of knives that have micarta for handles but never thought of using it for a pot call until I saw the one in the catalog. I knew I had to find a piece and try it. This is the first one in aluminum over glass. This thing sounds awesome with a real nice high start to nasty raspy finish. I'm doing a bronze glass next. Thanx for the look.

I like that Bill..you holding out on me?  ROTFLMBO. I've read about how much fun that material is to work with..so far I haven't found the courage..great job!! *up*

 Can't go wrong with micarta. It's a good solid material. Congrats!   *up* *up* *up*

I had Gary Anderson make me several calls about five years ago, from canvas micarta. I really love them. Gary was leery at first but I think he too, was surprised.

Great looking call Bill! I have a bunch of knives with micarta as well. This would seem to open all kinds of possibilities.
