Keep the dust mask on when working with that wood. I'd love to see what else you gleen from it. Those trees were cut for a bridge project on Rt 66 along the trapline. Made a super deal with the land owner for them. My miller was having sawing issues and back burnered them. A year later he calls and says," Your wood is cut but it is quite spalted and mineral stained".
I paused a second and said in a slightly dissapointed tone, " O. K. I'll be over to get it".
Turns out to be some really cool stuff that will make singers.
