Hey Ya all..I wanted to give you another offering.. This butternut was cut around 5 years ago. The Logs were left to slow dry for two years then about 3 years ago they were turned into 2-1/8 boards and AIR DRIED for another 3 or so years. The Lumber are nice medium weight with a nice feel and grain structure for making those awesome calls.. I really enjoyed working this lumber into call stock.. It runs smooth but firm in the table saw with no fuzzy edges. There are some pieces that have these pinner holes that I feel add an awesome look.. Take a look at the pics..
I will have 3-5 large boxes with me in Nashville if anyone is going to be there and would like the opportunity to dig through and cherry pick..
