I am thinking of trying to build or start a website like many of you have. Just a side project really. But being "behind the curve" on some of this technology its kind of mind bending.  I know that a lot of you have done this.  Any suggestions as to where to go to get a domain name, hidden fee's, is a DIY deal that some offer the best? Is it really as easy as they make it sound? Any and all input appreciated.  Just don 't know where to start :)

Hey LT,

I used weebly.com - it's very easy to use.  They give you a free domain name, but it's a .weebly.com, for example, www.dreiscustomcalls.weebly.com.  However, you can purchase a .com for a low price, I don't remember exactly how much it was though, and I believe there are different prices for different packages.  I chose the cheapest package you could (I basically just wanted a .com name) and I think I needed to sell 1 call from it over the course of the year to pay for it for the year.

No advice LT, as I'm basically 'puter illiterate, so all I can offer is that whatever site you start will become my favorite one!  *up*
