Latest batch of green man made green Osage

Finally got it right, this is a 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" blank, crosscut to show the green is all the way through, I think I see a hint of yellow in the center so I'll leave them in my system for a few more days, they will be available next week if anyone is interested, I know most folks want the real thing but this looks as good and turns as well as the real mud cured

Those cross sections look good!  What exactly are you doing to make them green?  Hopefully, you haven't explained already and I didn't see it.

That my friend is not something I can not tell you, if I did everybody could do it and I wouldn't make any money doing this and that's why I make it, to help pay for my brides anti-rejection meds because retirement and Social Security does not begin to pay for her meds! I'm looking at thousands of dollars a month just for the anti-rejection meds so she can live a few more years so sorry can't tell you. I've had her for 38 years and I'd like to keep her as long as I can, she has spent 38 years raising kids and grandkids and me and now it's my turn to take care of her.

That's no problem at all!  I think they look great and would be interested in a few blanks if any will be available.

If you want them with a little yellow in the center I do have them on hand in 4 1/2" and 7 1/2" but if you want them all dark green then it will be 4-5 days before the next batch is done and then I'll have 10 of the 7 1/2" and 5 of the 4 1/2" all green, let me know and I can hold some for you but they are starting to be noticed and it won't be long before there is a wait list, so email me.

Joe,  can you go longer than 7.5"
I'd be interested but will need a minimum of 10".

Sorry my friend but I am limited by the size of my equipment at this time and 7 1/2" is the longest I can do. I'd go bigger equipment size but have a lot invested now in what I have and as I've just got this working I'll have to wait to get bigger until what I have takes off, I have a Provisional Patent on this now, and the Patent is pending but I need to start getting a return before I can go bigger, wish I could help you!

I hope that unscrupulous persons don't market that as real mudcured.....that would be  ......but no doubt it will happen.....I know it comes down to ethics but now there will be a doubt in a buyers mind if it is real or not......Real mudcured is very difficult to obtain and that is what makes it desireable which created the a counterfit market.....I suspect we' will be seeing more "mudcured" calls from now on.....I understand and respect your reasons for marketing the product....but in the long run I am concerned...

I have heard your concern before my friend and yes there are those out there that will do that but most won't I would hope, unfortunately that is not something I can control except to state up front that it is Man Made, I wish that some people where not that way but they are out there and we can't do anything about it, I wish there was a way to mark it as man made and that mark would stay on it but if there is such a way I don't know how to do it, sorry. I think most call makers are honest honorable men and won't do that. But unfortunately there is always an butt that has to try to get over on people. I have always stated up front that it is not Mud Cured and man made, I don't know what else I can do.

This is not counterfeit Matt! Counterfeit by definition is something made with the intent to deceive or defraud people and that is not and never has been my intent!!! I have always stated up front that this is not mud cured and is man made!!!

your intentions my be honest but in the long run...a " green colored osage" call will be sold as "mudcured"   this will happen.....

Lots of woods are dyed and stabilized. This looks like green osage and doesn't have the same colors as mud cured osage. I really don't see an issue with it. And if it turns nice it will give the trumpet guys a new option.
