the red chalk made by Dixon Ticonderoga (carpenters chalk) is by far superior to any others that I've tried,...the problem is they don't manufacturer it anymore,....it bites hold better than any other and is very important in getting that realistic high pitch front end,..if you can locate some of it grab on to it,....I was fortunate enough to get a lifetime supply for myself,...it is very messy and will not "dust off" like others,...it has no oil in it.
