FINALLY GOT MY SON HIS FIRST BIRD

This is the first year my son has turkey hunted, we got off work at 5:00 and headed to a spot where monday afternoon and this morning had a gobbler struting off a point on a cotton field, both times he had load of hens with him, so this afternoon i had my son set up 20 yards back in the woods and i dropped on back behind him doing the calling, around 6:00 he showed up no hens  *up* so i started hitting him with one my trumpet calls, he blowed up and would not move, so i started moving back a little more and he started to close the distance to 40 yards and bam jelly head , i believe i was more excited than my son was, 24 lbs 4oz. 10 1/2" beard , 1 3/16 spurs .
