Its was a very humbling experience last year not to pull the trigger on a gobbler...I tried hard too...seems like something always went wrong.
No excuses from me though...I plan on killing some this year!
I hear that, Dave. I feel like I hunted harder than I ever have last year and only downed one gobbler, and that was Easter morning! I got a lot of heat for hunting on Easter morning, but only from those that just don't get it. That was the only normal morning I had all year! Here's to a better season this year.
