New book released, on Lynch calls
« on: December 13, 2013, 03:52:52 PM »
I just received my copy of a new, book that details, Lynch calls. The title, " Most Perfect" is written by Raymond M. Masciarella II, and is an illustrated guide to M. L. Lynch Turkey Calls. If you may be interested in learning more about this fine book, or purchasing a copy, you can contact Ray at 561-627-4448. The book is limited to 500 copies.

Thanks for the info. There are a good many old ones around this area. Mr Lynch used to come to Camden and sell calls out of the trunk of his car. Thanks again for the heads up!

I spoke with Ray the other day on the phone Bill and he said Allen Jenkins was perhaps going to come out with a L.E. call from Lynch to compliment the book.  From what I have been told the Sportsmen’s Foundation for Military Families has not even set a price yet on what they will be selling the 500 copies at.  Hopefully they will have an established price soon before the NWTF convention.  I also see that there is some pretty fierce bidding between at least 2 people who want copy #5 of the 500 on ebay.
I am sure it is a nice book but I personally don't see any copy being worth that kind of money..

Here is the link to the ebay auction…. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=191036685614&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:US:3160

No....$444 dollars!!!!

Why would anyone pay that amount for a book that is currently available for $150?!

I can't see the justification for the $444 myself either.  Especially when there are 495 more Limited Edition copies available.  Has the actual sell price been set at $150 Hookspur?

Although I would like to own a copy, I think I will have to wait until I see a copy in person to see if it warrants such a dollar amount.  I understand where the proceeds are going and I agree it is a good cause but $150 is still pretty steep for a New book..

Yeah, I got ahold of it last week. Very nice book (leather bound, etc.), and the money most certainly goes to a great cause helping out military families, but I agree that it's a helluva price to pay....forget that ebay auction price!!!
