Having more friends...
« on: October 03, 2013, 09:49:54 AM »
Is priceless and I am very thankful for the friends I have met/made on this site.  Here are two more calls I was recently fortunate to receive from another talented callmaker and friend, Frank Kruer.  Ole Frank has been one busy beaver making plenty of sawdust and on a recent whirlwind visit to Kentucky, Frank was generous to build me a couple calls in return for a call I built him.  1st up is one of Frank's go to calls, a Bloodwood over Butternut Longbox and lookout Nashville cause ole Kruer has got it going on in this call...

The 2nd call is a classic Maple over Mahogany short box call, Frank ya dun this wood proud  *up*and it will see some time tucked in my vest come next spring.

SCOTT, You got some real good ones from Frank.  I have a paddle call and short box in the same combo you have.  Frank is making some great calls and I am proud to own mine plus a copper pot of Frank's.  Congrats to you, those will do great in the turkey woods!

Scott, Its was great that you could make a pit stop in Kentucky. Sonya and I was happy to have you as a guest. I must say that you were the first Yankee to ever stay in our house.  ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO ROTFLMBO I had a fun time talking turkey with You and Brent for the day. I have to tell you that Sonya has almost finished that jar of your famous sweet pickles.  *lol*  Every now and then I sneak some out without her knowing it.  *peep* *peep* I want to thank you for that wonderful call that you made me and it will see woods time this spring.  *up* I also feel lucky to have meet so many talented folks on this site. Not only talented but down to earth good folks.  *cheers* You are welcome any time my friend!
