Got to ask a Mod ?
« on: October 01, 2013, 09:00:37 AM »
Ok I am on several forums and on some I see posts get moved for obvious reasons but here is the question. Since this is a general forum, I know this cause it says anything and everything, why move posts that really don't need to be? I understand moving some but this is a general forum so why move something that people really want others to see that might be missed if it is way down the list on the "correct" page?

Just wondering I see it done on other sites and it seems on some for no real reason. Ok I understand moving politics and sports  *wha* but to me many of the moved posts weren't hurting anything and I might not have seen something cool if they got moved.

Tommy,
If there is a logical location for a post we move it to keep things from getting to cluttered up.  If you post everything under the General Forum, people wouldn't be able to find anything.

I agree with Steve... Osage is more than a general forum page. We have listened to members and tried to set up boards for many different topics. If we see a tread that fits in those areas, we move them there. There nothing personal when we move topics, just don't want to clutter up the place.
