Any suggestions for an Alabama deer hunt?

It looks like I'll be heading to Texas this year with a good friend of mine. I'll likely be flying down to Florida to meet him and then we'll drive over to Texas together.  He mentioned about making a pit stop in Alabama and getting a deer hunt in there before we continue on to Texas.  I was just curious if anyone has ever done a deer hunt in Alabama, with who, and if they'd recommend them.

 I know there are several private schools that do reasonable deer hunts in Alalbama for fund raisers....just don't know where to tell you to look.
