Brians match to his longbox--
« on: June 15, 2013, 03:48:01 PM »
here is the next in Brians nightmare of making boxes  *lol*
Its a one sider made from his Perryman poplar he got in Nashville . Its a minmeral poplar body with yellowheart inlays with a bloodwood lid and base. Ole Brian did all the work on this one sider himself, all the way down to final tuning her. She has got a solid sound let me say also---I would be happy to enter it . Its got a super start that breaks into some nasty rasp. A lot of character in this one. Ya did a great job on the mate to your longbox Brian. Glad to see ya having fun at it brotha.....
here she is for you guys to see his work.....

Brian, that looks awesome, I am glad you found the sound you like in that call!  Now your talking like a box call maker, they all saw they hate making one siders. Good to see ya making saw dust and having fun.

Brian, you "may" have had a decent master to give you the guidance, but as you have learned it takes a lot more than that to build fine calls and let me tell you you are well on your way by what we have seen lately. *up*  Clearly you have the heart and the desire and it is showing.
