I wish I could help, my source is doing time in Alaska for selling prohibited animal parts.  *cry*

I forgot about this place. There in Canada and can sell to the US. The only drawback is you have to buy the whole horn. The highly figure stuff comes from the base or boss of the horn. The other 2/3 of the horn looks like the trumpet I posted. Also check knife makers and suppliers. They use a lot of it for handles.

Here in Ohio, all animal parts must be tagged. If you have a product made by someone else from animal parts , you are ok. But the person who made it is required to keep full records of where the animal parts were obtained and what products it was used to make and where they were sold. Likewise, if you use animal parts that were obtained legally to make a product for sale, then you have to keep good records of your supplier as well as your consumers. The laws are very strict , but when you consider all the illegal trafficking in animals , it seems reasonable enough. None of it matters until the wildlife dept. is knocking on your door but my advice is to keep a record of everything .
