A first for me (ALOT BETTER PICTURE ADDED)

Well here is a first for me. Its a Box Elder trumpet, 7-08 shell with an acrylic mouth piece. The call next to it is a Pleated woodpecker locator made from deer antler they both came out nice. I will post a better picture soon!

That trumpet is fine! The antler woodpecker call is neat! How does the trumpet sound and play?

Well Mike, I am suprised how easy it is to play by someone like me who is not a pro by all means. As for sound, it's real close. I need to bring the pitch up a little to be where I want it, but it would bring in a bird i'm confident. Not bad for a first attempt without any help. I am sure the next will be even better.

Great job Richard... the bullet casing is a cool idea....Can ya do one in a.280 caliber? I'll save the casing off the next big buck I kill and make a comemorative call with it.....
