I'm watching the ball game and I've lost my creative state of mind. Any ideas on what to complete this theme with?
Another barn or cabin on a hillside or far off field? The caller order don't care of the theme is. I've got the birds on the limb on the other side. That is a very popular request.

I can do that but I've already got the birds coming out of the timber into an open spot or feeding down the point. It would be wrong in my opinion to try to set up in the open with the birds coming out of dark timber. Maybe if I had more dark timber on the right and the hunter hid in that?
That's a maybe. I'll study on it and how much room I have left and hot to tie it in with the other side.
Good idea, even if not on this one maybe the next one?

I think I see 3 jakes running off across the field or pasture on the right hand side.

Or maybe a bobcat crotched down in the weeds headed towards these birds.

Or lastly, a hawk or a crow coming in to swoop down at these birds. 
Whatever you add in David it is going to have to be pretty nice to complement what you have already done!  *up*

David,

You have achieved something that is very challenging to do in 'black & while' get great depth of field in the woods and the birds without getting the scene all muddy...I can't take my eys of of that, it is very captivating and the Mayapple is the icing on the cake.  You have captured the moment with great detail and made all of the trees distinctive, yet making the woodlands believable--this, as you know is not easy to do and know when to stop burning. 

So where I am going with this...to me the scene and moment are set and the best way to support this would be to let the rest of the composition fall away to a valley with gentle movement and simple features so not to detract from the "show" by the gobbler and hen.  But of course you are the artist and I know whatever you do will be fitting and look mighty fine.  Thanks for tossing this out there for us, this was fun.

Looks like a fall scene to me, most turkeys are probably headed to a cut corn field when emerging from the forest. Awesome artistry any way I look at it.
