I won't be entering anything in Nashville. I'm not the competitive sort of person. The only reason I entered before was to fullfill a comitment I made to a dear friend. I was just hoping to place and get some sort of ribbon. When I seen how things were judged I was beside myself. That was such a humbling feeling. I make all the calls I can make. All the calls I make get spoken for. I am behind on my orders a way more than I like. More ribbons won't make my calls any different than they are.
I can still see the disappointment in a young mans face who placed down the line. I can only hope that more people can experience the feeling I had that morning when I seen how the ribbons were placed. I get my rewards when people call me after they see and hear the callers I made for them.
That being said, that don't mean I won't enter again someday. My kids are multiplying into grandkids and they all want something special from PaPa
