Walter Winterbottom / Jim Chilton longbox For Sale !!

  Here is a very special and rare turkey call for sale . This longbox caller is the combined effort of two of Eminence , Missouri's well known callmakers , Walter Winterbottom and his stepson Jim Chilton both featured in Earl Mickel's books. In 2011 Jim was going through a bunch of stored items as he was preparing for an auction on his farm. What a surprise when he opened a box and pulled out an old paper sack that contained the last caller that Walt ever built along with 3 cedar paddles that Walter made prior to his passing away . Jim used a piece of butternut leftover in Walt's shop and he constructed the body of the call in the style of Walt's calls . He used one of the cedar lids made by Walt for the paddle and this is the result . A Father and Son turkey call and the first of only 3 made . You won't find another one like this !
