Beechnut Pot
« on: October 09, 2012, 10:49:04 AM »
I just finished up the striker for this call this morning.  This is a retirement gift from me to a friend of mine who just retired after 20 years as a Wildlife Conservation Officer for the PA Game Commission in the Northeast Region.  I wanted to make the call and striker out of a wood that is native to the area that he served during his career as a Game Warden.  Both the pot and striker are made out of Beechnut.  I hope that Fred can now enjoy the hunting seasons being on the other side of the fence and with some luck get some blood on this call this fall yet.
