That is how we got him out. After we shot him we had to go back to get the truck and get the cables,snatch block pully's and rope. We hooked one end of cable to a birch tree. One end to the moose and another to the hitch to pull him out with the truck. Drove the truck down the logging road till the moose was at the edge of the road where we could tie his legs to the truck to keep him on his back to gut him out. Once he was cut open and guts were loose we untied him from the truck and dumped him out.

Next time we are going for a 50 + incher.
