Got the design for the body from another call maker. I tried to get in contact with him, but I didn't know how. He used to list calls on ebay, but I haven't noticed any in quite awhile. I know he had health issues, and was in pretty bad shape. Not sure if he is even still alive. I did make some modifications to it. I completely changed the profile of the sound boards and widened it some. Also, raised the frontend of the call and added fluting. I call it the misfit, because I started out with a different type lid, but just couldn't get it to work. So, I had a padauk shorty lid I wasn't using. I cut some flutes in the lid and put it on the call. Man, that thing jumped to life! I also, really like the way the short handle felt, and it also made it a little more compact. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. I'll think I'll keep the short handle in the design. Thanks for the look!! Gary
